| So I thought it would be a good idea to wake up at 4 today and "beat the sun" out to the Cancer Survivor's Park, which I was scheduled to photograph at about 2pm. I'm not sure if I saw the real benefit of that extra time spent in the dark - I certainly got some shots I couldn't have at any other time of day. Also, the po-po came about an hour into my shoot, seems that someone saw me shooting with a tripod and thought it was illegal, a crime, or doesn't know what a gun looks like... anyways, a squad car pulled right into the park and three cops burst into the park running... I explained what I was doing, they laughed, left, and I stayed for another few hours until the golden sun rose too high. It's been a good day. |
