I’ll tell you this; if you leave me a crappy Santa Votive in a swap box, I’ll swap you back something of equivalent value – like a kick to the teeth, or… a moldy grape.

I could just post pictures of my toys all winter, though I’d certainly want to get a macro lens if I was going to continue on this concept uninspired style. Of course, I’ve seen it done much better before.

Greatest animated movie ever made?Iron Giant?Nausicaa?Akira? What’s your favourite? You can download a desktop background for this here

One thing you might not want to do when travelling is have a late-night stopover in Bellville – not much going on. Oh, and as a peep, and if you’re into adult contemporary music… AND if you’re in Toronto on February 28th, you can check out One Night Live.

I’ve been posting a lot of Black and White’s lately, which is probably the result of two things: 1 a black and white photo, IMHO, can save a normally uninteresting photo (or a poor quality one); digital noise, poor exposure etc.The other reason could be that the colours are just dull right now, I’m not […]

I never slip, I never fall, A lot of hoes give me they numbers but I never call A real O.G. look at V.I.P. and see a nigga ball Then after we hit the club baby then I’m gonna hit them draws I’m gonna break you off (and that’s all) Every freak should have a […]

Whose fine ass is that walking away with my 1D MKII? And how come that lens looks so good on it? Note: this photo was taken with the Famous, DDOI 10-22mm

So I was playing around with the camera at ISO 3200 – there sure is a lot of noise going on at that end of things. Still, from what I hear, I’m glad I have a Canon.

Remember in Mario you had the Boo’s (and baby-boo’s but not a-buggin-me-a-buggin you) that were scared and shy when you looked at them but came to sneak up on you when you looked the other way? That’s like me with the ladies… sneaky.

I’m not like everyone else. I won’t miss Sam the Record Man, an iconic music shop on Yonge Street in downtown Toronto. Unlike most people, I did not get my first album there; it was at HMV – Beck’s Mellow Gold (and by album I mean CD). When I hit my teens and started to […]

I haven’t been so into taking the camera out this week, I mean, it’s been dark, I don’t want the hefty bag to wrinkle my shirts well before I get to work, and, well, my subjects are all the same. I’m not inspired to go out and walk around like I did a few months […]

Damn you sun! Leaving me in the cold like this… or I suppose I should blame the earths rotational axis; the fact that our orbit not only takes us further away from the sun (and thus all my warmth) but also ever-so-slightly spins where I LIVE just that much farther away so I get more […]

I thought that walking down the train tracks would lead me to adventure, brotherhood, and an inevitable run-in with a dead body. Instead I was treated to puddles, burrs, and dog poop – none of which you will see here today.

Delightful festive gourds – can’t bring myself to buy them – decoration that expires. That’s like buying a pumpkin you can’t turn into pie (or a Jack-O-Lantern), or milk for display in your front foyer during summer.

This is turning out to be the week of photos of people’s stuff (except for that Building on Tuesday) – This is the base of a lamp at my mom’s house with some Brass froggy she’s wedged between the base.I’ve been fortunate that my mom’s place is so full of crap quality content that I […]

I will state, for the record, that I am not a fan of such a selectively saturated image. HOWEVER, I did realize that, in full Black and White, you could not see the cute lil’ chicken, which I was once shown in a stimulating series of photos, having been used with such anthropomorphic verve, that […]

Isn’t it October? Why’s it so freakin’ hot right now? No wonder all my plants are dying – or maybe that’s just because I don’t water them. Whatever, I blame global warming.

I suppose I blew my “festive” theme with my shot of the Chicken wings last week – and I haven’t really spent any time out with my camera this weekend – so here’s one from the archives. Happy Gobble gobble day – eat lots but remember; nobody likes a fatty.

Why are bus terminals all pieces of crap? Is it because it’s the lowliest mode of transport? No overhead to compensate for poor infrastructure? Airplane terminals are incredibly elaborate, mostly new, with freshly painted walls and buffed floors. Bus terminals are run-down, seemingly all built (and maintained)in decades past, and don’t see signs of renewal. […]

Last night was the first official wing challenge – partook (partaken, party..part…)…attended by Linda, Sharon, Stephen, Paul, Jessica, Candace, Barb and Myself (all work peeps). The challenge was really just to rate wings in Toronto, perhaps I’ll post the results here once they’re completed. These wings (our first 100) were at the Wheat Sheaf at […]

See, this shot’s at “Wilson” subway station. Wilson / Winston… Get it!? Edit:WINSTON: Charles, why have we got this cage? CHARLIE: Er, for security. WINSTON: That’s right, for security. So tell me, Charles, what’s the point in having it if we don’t fucking use it? CHARLIE: Well, because it’s Willy and Willy lives here. WINSTON: […]

“And the Trogdor comes in the NIIIGHT… “!

I’ve been looking at Ernesto’s wedding photos (yes, this is several months old now), at an attempt to actually PROCESS them, and I figure what better way to get that one-two punch I crave than to post what I’m doing anyways!
