I suppose I blew my “festive” theme with my shot of the Chicken wings last week – and I haven’t really spent any time out with my camera this weekend – so here’s one from the archives. Happy Gobble gobble day – eat lots but remember;
nobody likes a fatty.

Terminus
Why are bus terminals all pieces of crap? Is it because it’s the lowliest mode of transport? No overhead to compensate for poor infrastructure? Airplane terminals are incredibly elaborate, mostly new, with freshly painted walls and buffed floors. Bus terminals are run-down, seemingly all built (and maintained)in decades past, and don’t see signs of renewal. Doesn’t the government bail out Air carriers? Why can’t they bail-out my buses so I can get a cheaper ticket, or a nicer waiting area, free of pigeon shit and mice.
Shroomz
Am I tripping out, or is it Friday already? I’m having Dinner with the ‘rents this weekend (Uli & Paul), and heading to KW for Danielle’s Birthday; but that’s about it – I hope everyone else has a good Thanksgiving, if that’s the sort of thing you recognize.
The Fall
I went with a select group of individuals (guess who, guess!) to the Gatineau’s this past weekend hoping to catch some fall colours.
While colour was present, I wouldn’t say it was really out in “full glory” – not a lot of splendour in beige-yellow trees. However, there were some good photos taken, a fantastic walk had, and, I hope, well appreciated gourmet cheeses selected.
Wing Challenge
Last night was the first official wing challenge – partook (partaken, party..part…)
…attended by Linda, Sharon, Stephen, Paul, Jessica, Candace, Barb and Myself (all work peeps). The challenge was really just to rate wings in Toronto, perhaps I’ll post the results here once they’re completed. These wings (our first 100) were at the Wheat Sheaf at Bathurst & King.
But fuck if I don’t feel nasty right now (writing before sleepy time) – I think I’m going to be pro-actively vegetarian for the rest of the week. The leftover bones were gross enough that I didn’t want to leave them in the crop, though you can see an uncensored version of the image here.
