Even out of a violent explosive crater, life comes back, in the tiniest of forms.
I had two wonderful paying gigs this week for my photography, maybe it’s not my pictures that sell things so much as it is how awesome I am as a human being – it’s like grandeur through association.

Yeah so I see these boats and I think about those little Russian stacking dolls, one popping out of the other until they get much smaller. Though I suppose this image would be a bit more comical if it was followed, by a jetski, a kayak, a paddleboat, a rubber dingy, a remote controlled speedboat and possibly a rubber duck.

The Toronto All-Star Big Band played at Ernesto’s and Jenny’s wedding yesterday; the band was the reason they met.
There’s something spectacular about being entertained by live music – a wedding DJ just doesn’t seem like he/she’d cut it.

There’s nothing better than having a party surrounded by your friends. I remember when I used to shun my birthday, keeping the date a secret to avoid any potential for people wanting to treat it as something special. Now I’ve come to embrace it, I try and get as many of my friends in one place as possible, I like to see just how popular I am by a count of heads.
