Admittedly I don’t think this is a particularly good photo, but I am perplexed as to why someone would just abandon a seemingly perfectly good (new) shoe.

Maybe they only had one leg, I can’t really say, all I knows is that this shoe was sitting there, with no companion to be found.

The kid in question is my girlfriend’s son Owen; he likes Batman, Video Games, and his mommy – JUST LIKE ME!

Attila said I looked like a pirate in the first of the photo-booth shots, but I think I’m just creepy lookin’.
(They’re prescription sunglasses, so I see better with them on than off)

Pasture

Iceland is basically a giant pasture for grazing animals (sheep mostly). The unique landscape affords some mountainous hikes, and it’s not uncommon to see a farm built right up into a cliff, with half-barn have caves. Sadly, many of the more photogenic locales I passed by on the bus (Like the abandoned barn & Silo directly in a cliff with long waterfall beside and full letter graffiti on the building – DAMN!), and couldn’t photograph – or wouldn’t, I’m not a fan of sticking my camera at a window and shooting incessantly.

P.S. this is a multi bracketed shot and was processed as HDR to try and capture the cliffs since the sun was “setting” just behind the mountain.

I got my latest lens last week: grabbed the Canon 50mm f/1.4 – now I’m fully equipped to stop taking photos of random flora and START taking photos of professional models.

This was a waterfall at the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. This is some mineral salt water that seems to pound down on you with the force of a strong masseuses fists. Though I barely felt it at all because I have the shoulder muscles of Goldberg
