Ride or Die

Ride or Die
I can just see the poor kid who has to drive his toy car out on this balcony. I picture him being the ignored, self indulged child, who will play quietly by themselves mumbling to their imaginary friends as they drive in a very slow circle surrounded by walls of bars.

Fidget

Fidget
I checked out Faith’s band Fidget at the Silver Dollar a few nights ago.
I had ordered a new lens, the Canon 85mm f/1.8 with this show in mind, I needed a faster shutter if I was going to shoot in the dark, but it didn’t come in time.
I think I still managed okay (my other lenses are f/4’s) and I’m hoping they’ll ask me to do something semi-pro [read: anything with $] (they have a paid photographer whose photos you can see on their myspace page but hey, you can have two different people shooting for you right?)

City Centre

City Centre
I can’t comment much on the City Centre here, it’s a bit of an ugly complex out in Ottawa down the street from Xtina’s place.

Man, that girl lives in a dump.

Damn it feels good to be a gangsta

A few peeps from work; right to left: Lindsay, Leanne, and Alexandra. They’re the stewardship team and they’re sure to STEWARD your ass.

On another note, did you know that the Polish call Easter Monday *Dyngus Day*, and that they exchanged gifts under threat of getting splashed with water. So check THIS out (I’ll quote from Wikipedia here):
*”…young unmarried girls were the only acceptable targets. A boy would sneak into the bedroom of the particular girl he fancied and awaken her by completely drenching her with multiple buckets of water.”*

It’s like the ancient Poles read my mind and created a custom around my own yearly ritual.
I’m pretty sure Brad’s thinking the same thing.
