Lineage

I was editing some photos at my desk when I heard some meowing and purring coming from the other room. We don’t own a cat so I knew it had to be our youngest son Alex.

His coo’s come out more like purrs, and it’s pretty darn cute. It’s also great to see him wake up in a great mood. Our other son, Quinn, tends to scream – LOUDLY – when he wakes up.

Basically Quinn’s all fucked up – his hair’s a mess, he’s confused, cranky, and doesn’t know what’s going on and doesn’t care. Alex wakes up and is happy to be taking in the world, the light is shining through the window, he’s got a cool mobile overhead – “oh look, daddy’s got the big flash on his camera again.” *POP*
