I wonder if Asians looking at food at a Western super market are as confused as I am looking at their various fish and noodle bowls.
Speaking of… I must go grocery shopping again – I seem to eat more when I’m home.

Happy New Year!
It’s hard to go home after a week with your partner – not a lot of people have to do this – many relationships evolve in constant close contact. But when you have to leave more than you get to stay, it become harder as your relationship becomes more solidified, as you and your partner grow closer and experience new levels of intimacy you find it harder to physically separate yourself from them again and again.
This won’t be the case forever, but in the interim leaving, being apart, does bring sorrow.
I’m back from Christmas in O-town.
It was a fantastic trip – stressful with all the happenings and new meetings of new family – but great none-the-less. Mel was completely cool with me throughout and checked in with me to make sure I was doing well [READ: not getting interrogated (tortured) by her relatives] and we even got Boxing Day to ourselves, watching some TV and playing with our respective new toys.
Mel’s Cat, Loki, also managed to find a love for the holiday’s – no, this rat was not being attacked, it was being “loved on.”
Got to see some of the peeps before heading off to Ottawa for a week – thanks for the good times ladies; may our exploits live on forever.
Doubt I’ll be posting much over the next week – I could try – but I really probably will not. Peace and Love!
