Not have I shown up for five minutes out of the woods, when Attila Starts launching roof-snow at me.
I’m thankful his pitching arm isn’t as strong as his girlfriends, otherwise I’d be buying a new camera.
In vetting this image with people, they commented that the snow looks photo-shopped in, which it is, sorta; I used Thinsite’s tutorial

On Saturday, my first foray out on Lesley’s farm was straight down the path we cut with the snowmobiles and then I cut directly sideways into the wooded areas.
This is when I discovered that I was in about 3 – 4 feet of snow, this made my trek through the forest painful and slow. I popped out of my self made trail a hundred feet south of the cabin, just in time to watch my friends leap off the roof into snow-banks taller than myself.
If we’re all patient and lucky, we may even get to see an example of this on Thinsite.

Oh to balance on the head of a pin, I’ve purchased my tickets to Iceland, but I also just got a great offer to head down to Cuba over March Break. Sadly for Jen, Steph, and Attila I’m going to stick to the more exotic (and more desirable) of the locales. Maybe I should link to my wish list and try and see if I can get people to buy me things…
No no, that’d never work.
I was mostly right about Lesley’s farm over the weekend I was way off on the farm this weekend, I had a great time and if anyone was awkward it was probably the couples…and Steph; however what I wasn’t informed of was the shovelling of snow off of her roof; only in Canada I swear.

We’ve spent the weekend at Lesley’s snowey-ass Farm.
Posting this before I go, I presume it has been cold, and awkward (as three of us are currently “unattached” while there are at least four couples I can think of that we have to deal with).

Enough ice sculptures? Don’t count on it.
I’m not fortunate enough to run into natural formations of the stuff, so you’d better believe I’m going to milk these shots for everything they’re worth.
An example of this would be seeing this image in the background of this shot.
