Archive digging for sure now – I’m afraid that I’m going to start posting shots of winter again, just because I feel like I’ve exhausted most “postable” (and some not-so-much) material from the past few months.

This is, admittedly, not a particularly fine photo, nor is it processed to any high standard. However, for me, it was a dual experiment 1 – To do a stationary panorama with a couple-dozen photos (I wanted to see if I could do this so I can apply it to work sometime). 2 – to […]

I’ve been pushing the late nights processing photos for work lately, and I’ll tell you, it is definitely work. But it becomes part of your routine, it just happens to encompass sitting at a computer most of the time, which somehow seems less artistic than the stereotypical Dark Room scenario when it comes to photo-processing.Ah […]

I don’t know if anyone read about what happened down the street from me on Friday, but it was hella-difficult to get home with a large part of my hood under lock-down.The two circling police helicopters did make me feel like I was in some 1984-esque totalitarian rule kinda place. Oddly, it served as a […]

My good friend William told me, at an early age, that if you try and hold your pee for five seconds every time you go, the ladies would love it and you would be “The Man”“Trust me.” he’d say when I asked why. That was over ten years ago now, thanks Will.

Chicken with beer inserted into anus = delicious. Came back to T.O. from a celebratory “Mel’s birthday week” which was full of great and awesome. It’s odd travelling back home FOR the weekend, I begrudgingly had to leave my ladies’ side to attend a funeral wedding today.

I think, intrinsically, people err, and will err often. So it’s quite obvious that mistakes are and can be made quite easily. It’s understanding and, through understanding, forgiveness that takes true effort.

I was in Ottawa for the weekend and Canada Day, we ended up driving home after the fireworks – which I didn’t really see aside from this last explosion (I was quite melancholy yesterday). Since I wasn’t wearing red & white, like a true Canadian, I was welcomed to the country a few times by […]

So yeah, this is a picture of a reflection of some glass on a building with a light post in Toronto – if it was a wider focal length it’d be like I’m trying for DDOI lookalike – I’m a total biter.

Admittedly I don’t think this is a particularly good photo, but I am perplexed as to why someone would just abandon a seemingly perfectly good (new) shoe. Maybe they only had one leg, I can’t really say, all I knows is that this shoe was sitting there, with no companion to be found.

This is my submission for Shrued-esque photo of the week. If you haven’t checked out Jonathan Greenwald’s site you should, if you live in Toronto or New York, chances are he’s taken a picture of you at random at some point.

0 days +1 I’ll be hiking and camping in Iceland for the next two weeks, and I don’t plan on making any updates (tragic, I know) – I hope you have my RSS Feed bookmarked, unless you still don’t know what that is, in which case you should find out, for when I come back.

0 days – and I’m gone and I will try again today. My plane was “delayed” and by delayed I mean it was on the runway for so long I was still in Toronto when my connecting flight was leaving New York.I’m glad my day and time are virtually worthless because otherwise I’d be pissed […]

Today I leave for a country that lives almost entirely “off the grid”, or at least they’re on the grid, but the *grid* as it is, is quite different. Iceland is, as far as I know, run mostly on geothermal energy; that’s hot. 1 day – landing tomorrow morning

I don’t actually know whose cat this is, I just shot it cuz it was looking my way, like the ladies; always looking.

I stepped in a pool of water this weekend wearing my new waterproof hiking boots – they proved to be true and didn’t let the wet in. Sadly the bottoms of my *not*-waterproof jeans were damp for the rest of the day. Hopefully pleasant thoughts of the lovely weekend will help those whose week turned […]

I don’t think I took a particularly great shot of this house or anything, but I do admire it for it’s classic feel, beautiful birch trees, and stature in the neighbourhood.

Okay, so tonight I’m going to attempt to process photos for the long weekend (in Canada – look it up) while slightly inebriated. Let’s see if they turn out!

WTF? This sink ebbed and flowed like the tides. Motion activated and (likely) highly wasteful, if you didn’t have to go pee going into the washroom, you certainly did once you got there. Also speaking of WTF, what happened in America’s Next Top Model last night? Jasline? That doesn’t make sense, she was *manish* and […]

Demon’s get all the chicks. Maybe it’s luck, maybe it’s force, whatever it is there’s a strong possibility I’m envious.

I take the camera absolutely everywhere I go, I don’t care how long I’m going, or even what I think I “might” see; there’s always something that you haven’t seen before. For this shot, I was walking down the street to get my dry cleaning, nothing more than that, but I stopped and popped off a […]

I’m dying to get out and take some photos, I believe a roam is in order today. You’ll notice the site change (unless you’re reading this through a feed, in which case I’ve just made your photos bigger) it’s all thanks to Pixelpost 1.6 – first class from now on kids.
