Church & Rails

Church & Rails
I take the camera absolutely everywhere I go, I don’t care how long I’m going, or even what I think I “might” see; there’s always something that you haven’t seen before.

For this shot, I was walking down the street to get my dry cleaning, nothing more than that, but I stopped and popped off a few shots and I’m happy with the result.

I haven't been by your site in a little while — really like the new look!

Jesus boy, how far do you walk to get your dry cleaning??

Magic! Really nice shot. Was there any post processing on this?

I'd say there's processing 100% of the time. In this case, I Dropped the exposure levels as far as I could in Camera RAW, then played around with selective colour layers to darken and enhance the natural hues of the sky.

I'm reminded of the closing scene in "The Ninth Gate."
