I am Ninja
I’ve recently taken to podcasts – at first I thought they’d be lame radio programs, but as it turns out you can get Video based Tee-Vee podcosts!

My current favourites, as Mel would call it, are “Geek TV” one’s, X-play, Attack of the Show, and a few Photoshop workflows.

Bloom

Bloom
Sorry about the lack of posts around here lately – I’ve taken a cue from Thinsite and refrained from posting when I didn’t have the shots/time.

To motivate myself, plus get ready for some upcoming projects, I purchased the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L and an off-camera shoe-cord for my flash. The latter will take some getting used to – while the lens, man, this is by far the best lens I’ve ever used. The build quality is remarkable, the shots sharp (even wide-open>; the weight and focal range just seem to fit perfectly with the 1D MKII I’m using as well – like they were built to be together. If I knew at the time, I think this could easily have been my FIRST lens.

Dale

This is Dale. One of two Medical photographers at the hospital – I drop by their office sometimes to pretend I know stuff about photography too.

I processed this image using the stained template courtesy of Lincoln at ides of may. If you haven’t subscribed to his site, you likely should, he’s one of the better photographer/bloggers out there.

If you can-dance

If you can-dance
I had a bit of a terrible week at work – granted, from what I gather, pretty much everyone else did as well. If it wasn’t for people like Candace and Raissa (despite having their own tough times), keeping me sane, I probably wouldn’t have gotten out of bed.

Panorama-rama
Just messing around with shots from last June and Iceland, didn’t really have the power of CS3’s photo-stitch feature then so didn’t think about any pano’s at the time – still need to take something proper in naught-eight
