Okay, so spending the weekend in Quebec just blew my mind. Why is Ontario’s provincial flower so completely prolific *outside* our province. I am stunned.

I stepped in a pool of water this weekend wearing my new waterproof hiking boots – they proved to be true and didn’t let the wet in. Sadly the bottoms of my *not*-waterproof jeans were damp for the rest of the day.
Hopefully pleasant thoughts of the lovely weekend will help those whose week turned sour know that good times will come again soon.
