I’m curious as to what monitor type/profile most people are using. I know there are certain *standards*, but I like to think that most people have a higher resolution monitor (something that isn’t set to 800×600), around 17″. I used to work off that, but I had to go back to my 15″ LCD, and I’ll tell you, it makes workflow pretty difficult. Photoshop tools take up half a screen really leaving very little photo to view and edit. Then I start to think, well how big is too big for a final output. 900 pixels wide? 800 pixels wide? These seem to be a bit of a standard. I’d like to give you as much picture as I can without making you scroll through to another dimension.
Anyway, I’ve just picked this up, so the space isn’t a concern anymore for me.
Very cool shot. 🙂
This shot got me thinking about how much I hate, hate, HATE taking pictures in the Winter. I dont take any time on composition, settings, anything. It's just kind of like "ehhhhhGetItDone.. GETITDONE!" Thanks for reminding me of how awful these coming months are going to be.
