Why am I still excited by Star Wars? The new Trilogy effectively killed any joy I had left for the franchise after the *special* editions [Read: shitty editions]. My boss mentioned that his kids loved the Star Wars Trilogy, without even asking which I felt a tinge of joy, some pride for a series that has long since lost it’s lustre; but none of it’s appeal.
