Temporary Remedy

Temporary Remedy
As an agreement of sale on our new house, the front yard perennials were not included as chattel with purchase. So a few weeks ago the previous owners came and dug out all of the perennials – that’s right – everything that was in the yard. So we had a big ugly maple tree, some box hedges, and some turned up soil, while our son was still in the hospital, as we were moving in, and as – and they knew – didn’t pay their final water bill, for a window that was broken and needed replacing BEFORE we moved ($1,000!!), and the ridiculous fucking mess under our back deck which was also in our agreement of sale.

Luckily our community collectively agreed that the previous owners were douche-bags and randomly planted some stuff in our yard as we filled in the gaps with purchases from the market.
