I haven’t really been outside during the light in a few weeks now, the days are slowly starting to change and it’s “prime time” for me at work – early morning and late nights have me wandering with my tripod in sling – but I’m just too tired to bother to set anything up. I […]
I made a last minute trip to Ottawa this weekend – which negates my statement from my last post of course. I hopped a 12:01am bus to O-town and just got back on my weekend, whirlwind journey. On another note of possible good sense, I opted to cancel my order for the new iPod touch, citing […]
Is it Friday? It is! The weekend; bitter-sweet when I don’t get to spend it with my lady.I suppose spending the day with my friend Will might be a runner-up… of sorts. There’s a bottle of red wine in the basement with my name all over it for tonight.
This machine and some flat gravel is all that’s left of a few buildings at the corner of Sommerset & Booth in Ottawa – the day after the fire I took this:
What goes up must come down.
How many times can I post a photo of Guiness? As many as I can drink!
Sometimes I sit at my computer desk (now a proper desk, not inset in a bookshelf), and consider what to write, other times, I just steal what Attila wrote and write that. My iPod died a few weeks ago, and it’s a pretty sad commute without one – but Apple did just announce their new-fangled […]
I potentially could ride my bicycle to work in the summer, just as much as I could potentially die from the invariably horrific bloodbath that would ensue; my carcass tossed from car to car, truck to truck, and bus to transport – Biking down major roadways in Toronto is a sure way to die. I […]
So I’ve got this Ms. pac-man table-top machine upstairs that belongs to my room-mate Dan. Some way, some how, while Attila and Jen were sleeping in the spare room, the glass on the machine cracked [read: they were banging on top of it]. The glass measures 55.6cm wide and 68cm long; it’s actually a octagon, […]
Man, I’d be such a pervert if I lived in an apartment, especially those swank downtown ones that offer full views of luscious babes undressing in their perfectly back-lit condo’s – luckily I live neither in, nor around such spaces.
“I could suck on a peach for hours.”I won’t really understand how Nick Cage saying that line is hot but apparently it is, so now when I see, eat, or say “peach” I think that quote.
So yeah, nothing great about this photo, except that I got my Hoya Polarizer last week and this weekend was my first chance to give it a try on some clouds. It really does knock out the light though, so I’ve been getting used to upping my exposure settings.
Feels more like “take off” Brad inspired me to try some sort of mash-up with a sky, to which I learned I really need to figure out what I’m doing first, and that I do a better job taking better photos than I do at processing them in Photoshop.
I recognize that many (possibly most) people don’t store their cars in their garages anymore; but I’m also going to assume that there come a point where you’re not even practically using it for storage – it’s basically become your back-yard dump.Mine is a perfect example (not pictured); I only put the stuff in there […]
I wonder if you can staple a post to death, like, staple it so much that you’ve effectively replaced the wood with steel reinforcement by mode of staple.
Xtina told me this photo was boring, but I still liked the perspective it offered; the sky, and most importantly the house, one I’ve been trying to figure out how to shoot for a while now – so fuck it, it’s done. NEXT HOUSE!
Something a grand little fundraising group is doing to support ALS research at Sunnybrook.
You ever get the feeling like some people have it out for you, granted, I don’t think I’m that important, but sometimes it just feels like people don’t want you around.
I wasn’t originally going to use this stitch as my post, but then I crashed CS3 over a few hours trying to put these 30-odd photos together (anyone know if this is a processing issue, or a RAM thing? Cuz I can fit more memory in my PC) Anyways, this is where I work, I […]
Word-up homeboy!
Sometimes I don’t mind all the artifacts and digital noise that comes out of a shot – granted, this is a strong leaning towards digital art over digital photography, but I’m not entirely displeased with the results of what, otherwise, would have been an uninteresting shot.
So apparently this weekend is some fake long weekend called Simcoe Day. Deemed a civic holiday, us posh office jockeys seem to get Monday off.
